Linking steam to ca account softlocks your profile

so i my buddy and i started a campaign, no issues, end the night, get together the next day decide hey, so he linked his account, he then was forced into offline only in the main menu and following every guide and step possible did nothing to resolve his issues, while i had 0 issues. i then replicated this issue by also linking my account. So, don't link your accounts for that sweet loot because you can't even do the quests for em and your online will be bonked.

What? I'm confused at what you've done and are having issues with, because I've had no issue linking accounts. Is this just a currently ongoing campaign that you're having issues?

no, this is a recent bug with CA rn, if you link your stea mand CA accounts it locks you out of online mode completely. No ranked leaderboards, no multiplayers games, all of it is greyed and you are stuck in offline. I've reproduced it to a T with my friend where our only difference was him linking his account and having it happen, and then me, with everything working 0 issues, then also links my account, and that then locks me to offline as well. So currently i'd suggest no one links their account if they havent already due to this bug in their coding.

hey, same issue here. after multiplayer game, i linked CA account with my steam, and now the game is in offline mode unabling me to play in multi

100% confirms what happened to me as well.. After linking my Steam account to CA, It never lets me connect to the game servers for multiplayer.

This was sent to me Dec 5, 14:00 GMT while in contact with support.
