Turn 15, I have taken Deadrock Gap province, Bonerattlaz have declared war, but are also at war with Drycha, I have a full stack (mostly miners) in the south, and a half stack (6 slayers, rest miners) in the north. Im getting everything to t2 so I can have garrison buildings, yet have a 3k a turn surplus even so.
This was on Legendary/Very Hard + max AI stat modifier. I generally get early walls/garrisons because even if they DO declare war, an 18 stack of dawi on your capitol vs a 13 stack is a massive difference with early game greenskins.
When the game starts turn 1, kill the starting enemy small army, take the first town, then stay there, now get a 20 stack of basic units (almost all dwarfs are armoured) and then go to The Red Eyes, whose armies will mostly be gobbo's now, poking at your armour with pointy sticks.
Your games have gone very differently from my own by the sounds of it.
I will give it another go, I hardly do auto resolve as I enjoy taking part in the battles.

by sniping the banner bearer in the first unit in the waaagh army and then retreating
