What I needed to do was hit [Esc], quit to main menu, delete my Ku'gath campaign and start off as literally anyone else xD
I think im going to try Greasus.. His gigantic gold ♥♥♥♥ and 75 ogre armys have been plaguing me for about 50 turns, it must be fun.
Seriously though, do you think CA did this so they could sell future DLC's? Nurgle units look so cool and he seems like hed be really fun to play if you could generate more than $5 every turn haha Im a huge Nurgle fanboy so it feels wrong to up and abandon his campaing but I just cant handle chasing ogres/china/Chorfs/DE Pirates and whoever else just happens to stop by.
its how nurgle does
cant really complain the faction follows lore if your a nurgle fan
you start with the sniffles before you get the bubonic plague
With only your main province being favored, you'll have good incomes from all your sacking left and right, allowing you to field a secondary army.
Field mostly nurglings in your armies with heroes. You are forced to play efficiently for the 40 first turns with blobbing nurglings, spam stream of corruption (nurgle lore) and sniping heroes/lords with your own lord and heroes in the blobs.
You can also use mods who makes the faction better obviously
If only there were other races that cater to the playstyle you want.
I mean, I absolutely hate how Vampire Coast plays. Same with Sisters of Twilight. Oxyotl etc. Any faction that relies fully on ranged unit's.
Doesn't mean I complain about it on the forums. I simply opt to not play those factions.
Nurlge is very easy and I can't wait for it to be even more busted with DLC
But yes you are missing something. It's that Nurgle plays differently than other factions. It's slow to start and then gets very strong. Yes everything is expensive early investment but then it's free. You can get a hero spam army going faster than pretty much anyone else if you want. Kugath is one of the strongest lords, especially early game. Plagues give horrific debuffs to your enemies, And you start in a very defensible spot.
GRESUS!!!! You town stealin, money grubbbin, time wastin, nurgling rustlin, back stabbin, cake eatin, garden raidin.... ahh nm hahah
I was focused too much on expansion then. I was thinking if I had 70 of the +$5 buildings id be better off than just repeated sackings.
Like, Nurgles units are really strong, I beat every army I actually faced, it was chasing every one of them that drove me insane. Llike friggin fighting hydra or something haha You kill 1 army and 2 more appear to raid your gardens.
It took me 4 hours to plant those gardens and some big, jolly fat guy rolls in and steals all my carrots and tasty taters. >:C
Well, Soon. Soon™ the ogres are going to get whats coming to them, I tell ya! Muahahahha
