Hellebron Campaign
I'm playing as Hellebron and I don't have access to global recruitment and I can't put my army in camp mode to replenish while moving...
Is it normal or is it a bug ? Seems pretty strange to me.

Dark elves cannot global recruit, you can use Black arks to recruit away from your territory instead

Not strange, it's one of the weakness of dark elves that cannot have global recruitment until you will have a Black Ark can allow you to recruit more units in area of influence.

Ok, thx. I didn't know that.

Seems they have a secund weakness in addition, the slave system is kind of hard to maintain. Maybe, I should try an easier campaign...

I haven't played Hellebron in an age, but I just finished a Lokhir campaign, and he's got it pretty easy. Riad for loads of slaves and money, then instantly a couple of settlements and all their upgrades to the next level. Rinse and repeat.
With the buffs he gives Corsairs, they can handle most anything until the late game with little backup. And his army can replenish large losses at the end of most battles.

Dark elves get replenishment in the grow your magic power stance iirc.

Dark Elves' Channeling stance allows replenishment in no-attrition Foreign Territory. It's better at it than in your own territory (even green climate).
Black Ark Dread Expansion allows the same thing and adds 10% per ark. There's the garrison issue, but un-garrison and re-garrison usually makes it work again.

You don't really manage slaves just spend them on rites, rush-build, and upkeep.
The control effect is either beneficial, negligible, or easily spent out of.

dark elves are damned strong, specially with slaves economy, and tier3 unit.
on campaign map, the slave system is designed by the lore, those evil elve like slavery and raiding.
the objective is to full your main province with slave, with the plunder of foreign cities, with the raiding stance of armies, and with the help of black ark,
they recently added the instant building with slave which help greatly.
dark elves dont play like "repaint the map", you can do it, but its preferable to focus on few rich region and help yourself in the plunder of weakling races !
also hellebron is the legendary lord, from a Free-LC, specialized, less powerfull than opther lord but focused on witch elves unit, strong offensive infantry, with blood chariot very efficient in melee , they dont like arrow and missile, so use the map, like forest, or hide behind ground depression for engage ..if you want easy faction to understand, high elves empire, if you want easy faction in battle, marauder of chaos, all elves, cathay, ork, ....i recommand to watch twitch a bit, some streamer can teach you efficient campaign trick or battle formation.

DE is strong , but only when you already won . Go play HE easier and stronger faction and you wont have to manage the sucky sucky slave mechanic .

Dread arks have the added benefit of cutting upkeep for anything kept on the ship, and if you have multiple arks in recruitment range for an army or each other, all those recruitment slots can be used by anyone...so you can build a full army in two turns or even less.

They're also immortal, so if you lose an ark, you don't lose all those skill points.

Then there's also the artillery barrage thing, and you don't need to build troop buildings anywhere that has range of a coastline (if you have ark around) pretty darn flexible.
