4.1 skill point resets
Best thing in 4.1 for me is the Skill point reset. won't use it very often, mainly for Confederated Lords and maybe late game to focus on different skills.

Interested to hear what other people think.

pretty good decision in my book. sometimes you find you want to change your character's loadout or do a new strategy. think its gonna be useful for lords and heroes that have varying skill s that lock out others. I think tis acutally good for taking a hero that you've had doing map activities and resetting him to be a combat dude isntead.

Probably more lenient than it needed to be, but I'm not going to complain. I would've been fine with an automatic reset on confederated lords and no manual resetting.

I would use skill point reset for confederated lords and heros.

Yeah i think the one time only on confed would of been enough. Guess one doesnt have to use it though.

One problem that could occur is that when you use the respec the lord is going to go in wound pool for 3 turns. What stops people recruiting it somewhere else when they feel like. You could have your legendary lord teleport across the map if you wanted to....

I like the 3 turn vacation as a counterbalance to doing a respec. If you have a high-level general taking it out of the field 3 turns can be plenty of penalty, especially if it was a wounded LL that you just confederated.

LoTW, always looking for the angles, mentioned it's a way to move generals quicker across the map rather than the 5 turns it usually takes. Make sense lore-wise too that 3 turns is playing shuffleboard on a fast ship, while 5 turns is spending the whole journey in med quarters.

LoTW has mentioned that too has he? This was something i noticed as well, the whole respec when you feel like is not good in my opinion, takes away cause and effect. I grumbled about it previously Lol. The one buttun respec, one time only was ideally the way to go. Takes agency away from the player.

If using Sea Lanes a Leader is out of the Game for two turns maybe that's the time to rest skills?

Nah i think it should be a there and then one shot upon confed personally. But thats just me.

Edit: The issue mainly is with the Legendary lords and how the AI specs. All the other basic lords doesn't matter. You can bin them and get another and level them how you want. So ive never had these to be an issue in any of my campaigns.
