But i'll send a video link I found helpful on all the "useful" highlights about them. Keep in mind: it has a 1 minute intro but you may want to skip past the original skit, if you want to head straight into Ogres points. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGi8uxFCxHU
I recently tried Skrag. Sieges can be fun, some interesting rosters, but all are "LArge" so there's that inherent weakness against ranged. Their Anti-Large a little lacking at the start but have the best cav, I think.

Camps can* be a pain to mess with; Cant pack-up current camp and keep the same level it once was, and has to be guarded at certain times, and set in crucial areas. There are good upsides to it.
But I dont regret playing them or owning them :)
Though please correct if something is outdated by now.
If you want the army for multiplayer then buy it. In single player, however, it looks as if you've taken the worst of the Skaven, Druchi, Asrai and Beastmen.
Captured settlements only go up to level 3, whether main or secondary.
Armies have to gather food because without it they suffer extreme losses, but food consumption also includes Gnoblar, the goblin-like servants of the ogres. Additionally, food is not global but each army has its own supply.
In addition, the Ogres have camps which function similarly to the Black Arks of the Druchi.
However, since they, like beastmen, need these camps to manage food and recruit the best units and, unlike the arks, these camps are stationary, as an ogre you are forced to adopt an extremely passive play style.
Because building the camps costs a lot of money and you can only have a limited number of them.
This is in complete contradiction to their nomadic way of life.
I therefore only recommend this DLC for those who want to have a strong army in multiplayer. For everyone else, don't bother with it because it just forces you to sit there and press next turn, in line with the rest of Total Warhammer III.
I fully disagree with the notion that Ogre's require passive play. It's the exact opposite. Invade a enemy, plop down a camp for the replenishment etc bonusses and just go to town and sack everything. Then once you're out of range of the small camp, disband it and setup a new one.
Having 2 or 3 camps in your main territory to have access to higher tier unit's is all development you need. With the tributes, you can have 1 turn global recruitment for all armies. Yes the bonus stacks per lord that uses the tribute.
Yeah it would mainly be Immortal Empires. I don't do multiplayer
yes cause at turn 25 you have 9 camps to use... o wait they have 2 with bit of luck 3
Unfortunately since they're big and fat, they can get pincushioned pretty quick by any range-heavy army.
what? ranged heavy ogres trive against, it's ♥♥♥♥ that bogs down like nurgle and vampires that really ♥♥♥♥ up the Ogres
