is there a way to diagnose crashes

I have mods installed yes, but i dont have the simple fix of the crash at start up but i have an issue where im crashing around turn 35-40 ish and it has to be an interaction a faction is having with another faction thats causing the crash but theres no telling how to figure it out unless i have a crash log

Event Viewer --> Windows Logs --> Application. If you're lucky something is logged in there. Otherwise, invoke Steam from command line and dump its output to a file somewhere, then read the file after the crash.

Download windbg(debugging tool for windows). Open the most recent log file(.mdmp format) located in C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer3\crash_report.

When you have opened it, click on analyse in windbg, it looks like a link. Let it analyse.

Now put the output in chatgpt(i used the 4o version), tell it that warhammer 3 crashes, and that the text you are pasting in is from the crashlog you opened in windbg. It should be able to read the log well enough and give you a troubleshooting guide. For me it was a memory issue caused by incompatible mods.
