Yes, no required internet connection to play the game.
Is there like a timer for it? If I'm on a fishing boat with no internet for 3 months, it will just stop working after day 30?
Denuvo turn single-player games into partially alway-online games, you can't play the games 100% offline but you don't need to be 100% always online to play them.
You can play them offline at long as the tokens last.
Yes, the authorization tokens have timer on them, thus making them expirable.
Making any change to your PC can also break these tokens, suck as change hardwares, switching Proton(Linux), reinstall/update OS/drivers.
I'm not launching DeathLoop for a month and wasn't able to launch it in offline mode, so yeah.
Wheeeeelll, looks like CA has lost another customer then. I can't believe they're screwing everyone over who doesn't have a constant internet connection, which is billions of people in due to various reasons. Not investing another Cent or a second.
Now, what's a good replacement candidate? xD Civ might be a tad old by now. Anything recent that itches the same itch that's released within this year?
