Ogre Kingdoms Update every other 3 months

Wouldnt it be nice if we get 1 Legendary Lord FLC every other 3 months? Up to 4 additional Legendary Lords to make it 6. As a DLC Update.

So they wouldnt get the additonal Free legendary Lords for Ogre Kingdoms if they dont have this DLC.

the Current 2 dont look like i want to complete them on a legendary. Legendary takes a long time to do, people want to look good while doing it. Help keep The excitement up every turn. I tried to do the first 10 turn for these two, i just couldnt go on.

FYI: Got this pre-release

Many players did not get this on pre-release.

Ogre kingdoms only need a couple tweaks to be much better. They are quite fun on the battlefield but their campaign mechanics are pretty rough.

1. Make the camps movable. Mods do this and its a simple easy and effective upgrade. (25% speed and cant attack even makes a huge difference). Its absolutely silly that a nomadic camp isnt allowed to actually be a nomadic camp.

2. Make greasus's cart an optional mount. I spent his whole quest battle failing to get an attack off against a monster because the carts pathing and animations are that bad. Currently you're much better off to make a tyrant lord your "main" lord and just park greasus somewhere. Removal of his cart would make him a viable pick.

3. Add a teir 1-2 ogre hunter javelin squad. Leadbelchers are great, but maneaters with ogre pistols being teir 5 is very late and it would be nice to have something before then

4. Add a cooking pot mechanic like grom.

5. Rework the food mechanic, its pretty boring. Ditto big names.

6. Mercenary contracts should
a) give you trespassing immunity from the faction that issued it
b) give you at least 10x (maybe 100x) the current rewards
c) have the targets be generally closer to you

7. give them a better economy. They have, I think, the worst economy in the game, and expensive units.

I wholeheartedly agree with most of your points!

I think Point 3 is not that much of an issue, gnoblar trappers work enmasse fairly well for the missile-purpose.
Add some more of the Gnoblar Horde/unwashed masses stuff, as well as Yetis and the missing range Monster (one might get the idea of adding blood vultures as cheap flyers/ reskin the damn carrionbirds of khemri lol)

To 5. Bignames could be better AND be active all at once. The whole Point of getting them is Bragging rights for the holder of that name. And chaining them all together and even having gnoblars help to remember them in lore, is the norm for ogres. so why do i have to choose one?! (easy fixed by mod, and it enhances the experience even without buffing the effects quite drastically)

in addition to 7. and some meaningfull tech. some useless tech for early units is so far ahead in the techtree, one barely sees it taking effect for one might have phased out all most of their bulls for maneaters or ironguts (hell, even ironguts could get some proper tech please)

It was a "Day 1" DLC as a bonus for people who pre-ordered. Here a small reminder:
In WH1, it was Warriors of Chaos (the state of which some of you maybe remember all too well until game 3) and Norsca for WH2 (that is... not in a good spot, to say the very, very least).

Judging from how CA dealt with those "bonus factions" until now, I wouldn't expect to see much on the Ogre side for a very, very long time. This is also partially due to the fluff: In the grand struggle of good vs evil, Ogres as a faction aren't important.

I kinda wish, CA would already come around and give us proper mercenaries (which would probably also include some Ogre updates, since the race is famous for its mercenary work), but I fear it won't happen any time soon.
Note that in these 3, Norsca is different than the others. It's firstly a WH1 DLC, not even playable (without unlockers) in WH2 vortex. WH2 didn't have a day 1 DLC like WH1 and 3

Yupp, and very few only get the Ogre Kingdoms after the release, It needs that update every 3 months to bring some excitement about Ogre Kingdoms, like people would want to complete a legendary. i got this pre-release.

Its a good thing that Norsca is gonna be getting updates next year additional 4 lords for Norsca finally.

Roadmap? There are 4 exciting norsca legendary lords that are still not yet in game. Next year summer would be the best year to do legendary campaigns when all the expected roadmap updates are complete

How about beastslayers units for brettonia? armored version of the foot squires. Just adding the armor and antilarge. Maybe more reknowns? a lot of possibilities next year Warhammer 3 should take 2024 or even as early as winter 2023 thornes of decay, humies get the boons.

Well it took Norsca some years to get a rework and that was back when CA cared. Given their recent show they opt for less effort 'updates' so....don't hold your breath.

They are not bugged, they just don't unlock on short or long victory. Domination or ultimate victory is needed.

There are no hints of Norsca in the roadmap. There's only one unknown DLC in the roadmap atm and it'll probably contain eihter Khorne or Slannesh (or both) in the 3 races part of it.

I thought it said legacy factions? Updates on legacy factions? Norca is the only 1 that has no update. The way I see it they would need Marauder champions with javelins. Even better for me if they are marauder champions with spear and shield and throws javs. They only have 35 block chance like the rest of em. Norsca does not need lancer cavalries. Their charge is already OP.
