why? he cooks stuff
also u can go full mad max comp with him and dont feel bad about it, even tho thats more fun in W2 vortex campaign where u start in southlands so u can ride shiny and green across the highdunes of nehekara.....
Grom is the most OP one.
Grimgor is the one for roleplaying as he´s the one true git, who unites them all.
Azhag - i only confederated him so far, but could be nice i guess...
Sharsnik has a unique campaign without orcs basically.
I guess all are fun to play, because they have a diverse roster and don´t focus on bows, while their artillery is okay. Doom divers are nice. Somehow their lord and hero selection is a bit off though - like in the Sharsnik campaign You´re still able to recruit orc lords, and (black) orc heroes. And if You play any other orc LL, You only have the orc lord as choice - while all other lords are goblins, which seems off if a goblin leads an orc army. So there´s variety lacking.
Favorite would be Grimgor though. And then try to confederate the rest, which is easy as orcs, as You only need to beat the faction leader in one battle.
IIRC i only played him once in WH3 so far, he must be one of two LLs whose start position is actually much easier than in WH2. Previously you had to march through half the world to get to K8P, now you can march directly into KaK instead.
And erase Thorgrim while he´s weak in early game on the way to have the major threat in the game gone...
In WH2 it was hard to get out of the mountains, because You would need two or three turns to reach the next settlement, but Belegar would send one or two full stack to You every second turn with his heroes. I guess the distance to Karak eight peaks is around the same, but You get better settlements on the way, and most of them are to reach within the next turn.
Now it´s rather easy. A bit harder in endgame, if You don´t use orcs, because no matter the buffs, they´re not Grom level of buffs.
Imho the best thing about it is that with him the goblin lords fit much better.
