What are all the end game events?
I know there's vampires, chaos dwarves, vermintide, ccccchaos (Archeon)? What else is there? Do we get new end game events with DLC?

You can see them in the settings menu when starting a campaign.

At some point CA said they want to release an endgame scenario for each faction, but i´m unsure if they ever do it - and honestly calling them events or scenarios is a bit overdone. It spawns some things which You need to destroy. And if they do them they could be part of a DLC, or better in some free patch. I can´t imagine people paying for these endgame scenarios, while their production costs are probably included in the DLC price anyways.

End game events are all the same. Tons of really powerful armies spawn that are at war with you. Only difference is the faction it happens for. Really weak mechanic they should flesh out more.

It spawns enemy stacks of chosen races and theres that. Barely worth the name of endgame event.

Just compare to stellaris that has several depending on settings and whats actually happens in the campaign, thats actual endgame events.

CA themself has even done better before with a continous endgame (forced for narrative reason) in Attila with the arrival of Attila and the ongoing climate change, delivered with some excellent cutscenes

The Skaven one also spawns Undercities all over the place to blow up towns or spawn armies if not destroyed in time.

Yes - cost me around 6 - 10k per turn. I thought that was kind of the scenario, that they appear randomly in these undercities, and one would have to survive a certain number of turns, and somehow i built the discovery building in every province, which i thought was a nice coincidence - but then it turned out the most lame way i could imagine, and i will never enable that again...

Yes, they did it that good, that the climate change events broke every single AI faction except for the scripted one, as they couldn´t handle the income loss, and wouldn´t develop their settlements any more, so they couldn´t field endgame armies. Was nice.

Love the sarcasm! 10/10.

Nobody said it was perfect, and with some actual post-launch content besides culture-packs for 6 months like say bugfixing & optimisation maybe things would had worked better for the AI and the game overall.

Still take things like these along with immediete campaign-effects over a textbox & a bunch of random stacks from already defeated enemies (or friends)

(yes I pick the ones I like and I wont miss a chance to fanboy over Attila and I am not much for cinematics with still images)

They are just meant as a challenge late in the game when the player is likely steamrolling everything else. For me that has worked as intended the two or three times I have bothered to play a game for long enough for it to trigger. The vampires gave me a real fight once when I was playing Archaon, although I think it helped that they were still in the game and pretty powerful (no.2 or 3 after me, I think) even before they suddenly received all those extra armies, and when playing as Chaos dwarfs it was the regular Dawi that suddenly came at me with tons of extra armies (they were not so hard to beat though). Think it was WE once too, although I can't remember which faction I played at the time. Its an okay event, but its just there to make late game a bit less boring as you steamroll the map.
