I dont think there is plans for more races but i am not 100% on that, could be we get Dogs of War or the like, but i think all the factions of 8'th edition is now in game and that was the OG goal iirc.
For 49,99€/§ surely......
Saw an effort post about some of what was going on, shame about the amount of time, effort and money pumped in to Hyenas just for it to be dropped.
I was hoping they might have been working hard in the back ground to get a 40k total war game out, but if what I read is to be believed CA lost to many of the more skilled staff and with what is left a huge project could be pretty impossible.
Just glad I lived in time that we got this Warhammer Total War series fo game with so many units. No other game I can think of in the history of video games had this many unique units.
So, the premise is wrong - there is more content planned, lots of it, just not new races.
CA hired 200 new people to work on Hyenas. Even if you take the 40% number as gospel, which I'd recommend against, the latest hires will be the first to go. The remainder is about 1/6 of their staff - hardly a crippling amount. They made Warhammer 1+2 with less.
Would be a lot of things they could do if they went in the direction of Indus, both as human factions and as "other".
