Banning people permanently, especially those who contribute to the game, is a pro-gamer move

Stompie who made the Artefacts mod for WH3, along other mods, was banned permanently because he posted something about Sega Sonic fanfiction before (it is innovative, admit it). As such, he can't update the mod anymore. Go search for it and see how people react.

I rarely opened a post, just comments below threads every here and then, but this time, I think a line has been crossed. Banning people saying about Rob Money, maybe agreeable, because it's speculation and may contain misinformation. But banning people permanently because they criticised the company? Are we living in Russia or North Korea, that we aren't allowed to criticise anymore?

This is so ironic that on one hand, they say 'we are listening, the good, the bad', and now they just ban people. This is way over the line, and effectively kills of any last bit of good will I have for CA. If you can, please ban me as well, I don't really bother anymore.

For those CA bots like Zeek and Pollo, I have 2k hours in WH3, with all DLCs except SOC. I defended Chorf before, and I still like Chorf and think it's worth 25$. I have 1k hours in 3k, and 500 in Shogun 2. I hope this can shut you up.

Stompie not only criticized the game, he also made some hostile comments towards CA employees and received a ban for breaking the rules several times.

Mods can be adopted by other modders to make update when needed and there are many mods can be forked by other modders to make some adjustments and there is no rule against that.

You take time for constructive comment. I appreciate that, so I'll response constructively as well.

I did some search for stompie, and all I saw was he had the same amount of hostiles same as everybody, or I'd say same as me, who are dissatisfied with the game and want it to be good.

As for modder picking up abandoned mods, it's not the point. I'm not afraid the mod is dying, I'm sure I'll survive without that particular mod. But to ban people just because they voiced their contrast opinions, is something I won't accept.

I'm not sure you work for CA or just being bot, but if you do, it's dim-wit to do something against its playerbase. You're just attracting more trolls and people who are not afraid of the ban.

Damn i really wanted to see Putrid Blightknights added in Nurgle DLC, but if the rumours are true then i doubt we'll ever get the next update.

This is CA moderators not Steam i had a clear indication I was perma banned by CA not Valve in the Pharaoh thread.

When i spoke to Valve they told me it was CA nothing they could do.

People complaining about getting banned on a game forum will never not be funny, post threats and cringe and expect to get the ban.

The forums are free to be moderated or unmoderated however the game dev/owner/moderator wants.
