why isn't their an equivalent? we need a hive mind swarm NOW

Let's see. A numerous horde that eat anything with a wide array of mutated creatures to fit any need... Sounds like Skaven and clan Moulder in particular, doesn't it?

Sorry my good chap, but unless CA gets permission from GW to do something nifty with “The Devourer from Beyond”, the Skaven are the closest you’re gonna get. :winter2019saddog:

No one knows who/what is really the Great Maw, but it cames from the sky, has flesh and fangs and contaminated all a race to suffer infinite hunger, making them involve. That could be the closest reference to Tyrannids (we've never known their origins by the way)

The moment Tyranids entered the world the GW God of Lore would lie down and bleed out from horror. And anyway Tyranids are star system killers. A fantasy world of magic and knights and demons would stand no chance. The world probably sits in a snow globe on some grand inquisitors desk anyway.

so skaven with hive mind lore.....as what in game affects would hive mind even have?

Xenomorphs more fit in with sci-fi then fantasy though some types of demons have a hive mind

that is true. just flood, tyranid, etc type hive minds have always been my favorite.

op leadership as they are a hivemind and cant get scared just like the undead. Horde tactics like the skaven. and maybe a resource thing like khorne but instead of skulls gather biomass from dead people. all the hive mind type of stuff
