Dwarf Beardcare
So like, are they allowed to trim? I think I remember hearing somewhere that Dwarfen barbers exist, and are seen with the same respect as surgeons because they have to do a damn-fine job given who they're working on. But is that just like clean-up or are dwarves allowed to shorten (BUT NOT ENTIRELY REMOVE) their beards if they want?

Like, culturally, is it a Samson type of deal where you're just not supposed to cut it? Or are older, more wealthy dwarves with more intricate, braided beards just flexing?

Not the Beard! :D
The longer the more respected someone becomes in dwarven society, most likely trimming a tiny bit here and there from time to time is acceptable, clean shaven never ever. That would be one of the biggest shame a dwarf can suffer.

Dwarves understand the importance of keeping their beards clean and free from debris. They regularly wash their beards with special oils and natural cleansers to remove dirt, grime, and battle residue. This ensures that their beards remain fresh, lustrous, and free from odours.

Conditioning and Moisturising: Dwarven beards are known for their robustness, and maintaining their strength and shine is crucial. Dwarves utilise various beard oils, balms, and waxes made from natural ingredients to condition and moisturise their facial hair. This helps keep the beard soft, manageable, and resistant to breakage.

Trimming and Shaping: Dwarves take great care in shaping and grooming their beards to maintain a tidy and distinguished appearance. They use sharp, finely-crafted grooming tools, such as specialised scissors or even enchanted blades, to trim any unruly hairs and maintain a neat and uniform beard shape.

Beard Ornaments and Accessories: Dwarves often adorn their beards with intricate ornaments and accessories as a display of their wealth, status, and personal style. These can include golden beads, gemstones, runes, small trinkets, or even enchanted items. Each ornament holds significance, representing important events or achievements in a dwarf's life.

Beard Etiquette: Dwarves have a strong sense of beard etiquette and take offense at any disrespect towards their facial hair. Pulling, tugging, or mocking a dwarf's beard is seen as a grave insult that may result in a fierce confrontation. It's wise for other races to approach dwarf beards with respect and admiration.

There's a Slayer with a Chop-stash on the cover of the Grudge of Drong -https://boardgamegeek.com/image/891082/warhammer-fifth-edition-grudge-drong

It is a Slayer though.. so more symbolic rather than a common Dwarf style I'd say. More of a warning and way of saying he's a psychotic terror on the battlefield. It's the "I have severed important reality ties in the name of seeking death" look for a Dwarf. So not exactly a common number at the Dwarf barber I imagine.
