Well beyond the unique LL, unique faction, unique mechanics that would be needed.

Nagash is outside the time frame of WHTW. Other than End Times which my understanding has been decided not to be used for WHTW. Nagash's last active period in WH was as a contemporary to Sigmar.
first of all their is no single time frame in total war warhammer and Nigash has come back a couple of times.
they also never said they wouldn't use things form end times just that they wouldn't go into the end times as a setting.

i see them using him and Thanquel as events so they wouldn't have AI start locations but they would arive any time after a surten amount of turns. they could even make Nigash apear as an aliy to arken the black after he completes a set of tasks and thanquel could be like gotreck and feilx then the player wile allowing the player to play them by them selves tho it would be cool to play Arken to unlock him
One time, no. Rough time period, yes. WHWT isnt Endtimes and isnt Time of Legends the two more proximal periods of Nagash's activity.

And yes Warhammer TW has been stated not to be using the the End Times or AoS and being set around the reign of Karl Franz.

Alright how about nagash as an end event scenario that can happen? And tons of empires can unify to stop him, and then add in more powerful units for other factions to try to balance it out? Nagash should still be insanely powerful and require your absolute best units.

I'm guessing you think Nagash is the pyramid or maybe you are mixing up his minion Arkhan the Black with him. Nagash is an actual character, a super powerful necromancer, who is actually dead for much of Warhammer's story but whose followers, like Arkhan, are trying to revive him. And in which they finally succeed in the End Times Storyline, but we are never going to see that
their is another place that was added late in game in the bad lands
Unless it's controlled by some generic lord named "Nagash", he's still not in the game yet.

Well they are close. All they need to do is add a Nagash lord that spawns during the Tomb Kings crisis. They could even make it a global Undead crisis with not only Tomb Kings being affected but all Undead factions and uniting together, though I'm guessing that might provide a little too much of a challenge. End Game Crises are bad enough when one race is affected, now imagine what would happen with 3. But then again I think there's an option to get every End Game crises trigger, so maybe it wouldn't be too out of the ordinary.

You’re thinking of nagashizzar which is his fortress after having been defeated in nehekara.
But as a faction he’s not ingame, his fortress is occupied by skaven.

Surely they could add in tons of other powerful lords, but nagash should still be among one of the most powerful in the game.
I dont think you really understand the scale of it.
Nagash as a playable lord would be like having 2-3 Belakor stuffed into a single lord. As in, 1 spell would delete the entire enemy army(no exaggeration).

It would be to horribly unbalanced if they were to do right by the lore. And if they were to go for a more balanced approach, it would not really be Nagash. By then you might as well just rename a Master Necromancer to Nagash.
Looking at other extreme powerful spellcasters, Mazda and Kairos, no Nagash won't end up as either example.

No... different magnitude. Or if not different magnitude both Mazda and Kairos have loreful reasons they cannot being all the big guns to bear. Demons have warp vs physical embodiment shenanigans that limit their power. Mazda on the other hand is sleepy.

a wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to...

I like this idea.

Endgames just feel like lots of armies drop; a more plot-driven invasion would be fun. Odds are the mod community will get to this eventually.

And who know maybe adding powerful NPC lords that basically amounts to bosses
to the Endgame Crises in general might be enough to make them fun.

Oh you can just taste the :steamsalty: . I wouldn't try it though, looks like you'll get hypernatremia instantly if you do.
Only 2500? That's not too far from the avg 4090
