Death Hags

I feel like something is currently broken with Death Hags. Has anyone else noticed a problem with them?

Every Death Hag I field, regardless of level and stats, just loses and dies to everything. Something is wrong somewhere. I have a level 34 Death Hag (unmounted) with all maxed combat skills,
94 melee attack
51 melee defense
42% physical resist
immediately loses and hitpoints just melt while in combat with a level 5 Beastlord, or a single unit of unranked dreadspears. I'm no noob to playing Dark Elves, and hags should normally be as good as any other melee hero on foot if not tankier but with a weakness to magical attacks. Currently, at least in my game, they all die faster than an unranked sorceress in combat with anything. Let me know if it's like this for anyone else.

Haven't played since 3.0, but in the last hellebron campaign before at least, nah, they were their usual pseudo-tank duellists we all know and love. Try rem to post back if I do notice though.

Just playing vanilla btw? If not double check no recent mod updates did a ninja nerf on them or something/3.0 itself maybe, but I don't rem that from the def notes, and the def notes are all I read lol

Playing Hellebron too, I almost exclusively play Hellebron lol. Just vanilla warhammer 3 unmodded and updated.

I haven't really tested if they're also broken while on the cauldron.

Couldn't add anything as I haven't played DE yet.
But... they are likely my next campaign so I'll definitely keep an eye out for this issue, and if this thread is still running I'll be back.

As for that, I'm thinking Rakarth or Lokhir but while not new to TW or WH2 (a few years since) I am newish to WH3 last month with only Tyrion and all Chorfs played so far. What would you suggest/recommend as a good LL for DE to get me started/learn the faction?

Lokhir and Rakarth definitely have much more interesting start positions than they did in WH2, and I would say pick whatever LL you feel has the most interesting start position. I've been enjoying Hellebron simply because melee is much more viable in WH3.
