Hmm, but it doesn't explicitly say that it applies to the army. It's so confusing trying to figure out what applies to the army as well - and what applies only to the hero. And I also read that hero skills or Ancillaries that apply to the army doesn't stack with the same skills or Ancillaries from another hero?
Because embed always applies to the army.
Followers traits and skills unless specifically mentioning "Hero's army" will not impact the army they are in when assigned to a hero. If the follower doesn't state anyhing, it will only apply to the unit the follower is assigned too. If it states Lord's army, it does nothing, because a hero is not a lord unit. For example, for a long time Tomb Kings heroes could have "treacherous" which would give +5 mA/mD to Tomb Scorpions for the Lord's army, meaning Tomb King lords with the trait would give +5, but heroes with said trait would not.
