I want new FLC for Cathay because i want dedicated melee hero (celestial dragon guard captain?) with training and some other type of hero with replenishment and another lore of magic (jade-blooded sorcerer?)
We are not the same
You are salty enough to completely ignore CAs DLC practice.
If we get a "Cathay DLC", it will be a double race DLC and 2 LLs, with upgrades for both factions respectively. The price should also be lower than a full race pack DLC.
But I would support your issue because that's really needed. And a shame they haven't still delivered.
I guess we will see Thanquol before Cathay ever recieve any love ^^
I'm playing that game since it released and I'm playing it a lot. I know their DLC practice, however Evildoorfs-DLC was hilariously overpriced for a faction that was already modded in AND is quite a copy paste of this work, other factions's uNiQuE mechanics and a real shame in my eyes - and I'm a fanboy.
The double race DLC upgrade would mean a "destruction" force will get a Legendary Lord. So... a Chaos faction? I hope not!
If I remember correctly there is mention of Pyromancers (Fire) and yes, Jade-Blooded Sorcerers (Life). Hopefully we'll see the Alchemist, Astromancer, and those two all show up in the same shared caster tree, or maybe they'll give the Alchemist skills to better differentiate it from the Astromancer as your "caster" hero.
Tzeentch v.s. Cathay Lord Pack, with The Changeling and Monkey King, is the most likely Late Summer DLC. Li Dao the Fire Dragon FLC?
Kislev v.s. Khorne is most likely to be the Winter DLC this year. Probably won't be until next Spring we see another 4 Lord Pack. The Golden Knight or Skulltaker FLC?
May you be right cuz that would do just great
"Li Dao: The Fire Dragon (master of the burning winds and lord of the phoenix) - Male Ruler of the South, described as bitter that Miao Ying gets all the attention for defending the north when he has the challenging and thankless task of protecting the empire from Ind and Kuresh. Also has to deal with the Monkey King the most out of all the Dragon Siblings, who basically constantly trolls him from Warhammer Nepal. Being stuck as the second best and second favourite behind Miao Ying whilst constantly getting dunked on by some overgrown furry has left him with some unresolved issues. How original to make the fire-themed character a hothead (Even though that is literally the canon effect the Wind of Fire tends to channel in its users). According to an Andy Hall interview, he and the Jade Dragon teamed up to stop Ku'Gath from paying Cathay a little visit."
"Monkey King: While not one of the official rulers of Cathay, the (currently unnamed) Monkey King rules over the Mountains of Heaven and the Monkey Warriors, the second largest population in Cathay. During the Time of Darkness and Disharmony, he took over the country while the Dragon Emperor was away and his kids were fighting, installing a Clan Eshin Warlord as an advisor. This pissed off the Dragon Kids for obvious reasons, and they unified against him and knocked him back to the Mountains when dad came home. Understandably, the Dragons all hate his guts and the only reason they haven't exterminated him and the rest of his furries is because it would weaken their forces against other, bigger threats to the south.
The Monkey King does help defend Southern Cathay alongside Li Dao, and by that I mean he annoys the ♥♥♥♥ out of him, though it is implied his warriors also serve as mercenaries for others willing to pay for them. It is also unknown if he and his monkey warrior count as servants of chaos like all beastman, that or the fact it has four arms just like that monkey statue from Vampire Slayer."

Also... there are numerous hints in the game toward The Changeling and the Monkey King having a rivalry; the easiest missing units for Cathay are the Monkey Warriors. Anything that could go to Li Dao could go to Yin-Yin who is way more likely to be a DLC character then the Jade Dragon; who is really the least unique from what we know.
While Monkey King would be nice, I'd prefer a skilled mortal. Less fantastical; more realistic.
A man or woman to really grind in with the Jade Warriors.
