QUESTION ON DELETING MOD FILES
https://forums.totalwar.com/discussion/262888/question-on-deleting-mod-files
Also what your specs OP?
Yeah it's interesting that whatever it is seems to only affect certain people. There's just as many people saying they aren't having the crashing as people saying there are.
Suppose we just have to wait for a hot fix patch hopefully soon.
crash without mods
For someone who doesnt see a single fault you sure do spent alot of your time not playing this perfect game, blinker behaviour.
Until recently I havent posted on here for a month so you pay as much attention here to the game clearly.
Please point out where I said I hate the game rather than the obvious flaws the game has and needs pointing out.
Have you ever played a single game ever....this is laughable logic when PC gaming especially is infamous for different PC's of different builds with different OS with different DX and different etc etc etc giving different results.
Youre basically saying everyone who ever reported a crash is a liar and when looking at YOUR posts over the last month you just parrot over and over " Its mods " despite admitting you never use them so you have no clue what youre talking about do you.
Not at all, which is why I'd agree with your naysayers as much as I'd hear out the other side.
Personally, I've had no issues with 3.0. Only two mods used though, both of which introduced post patch... and none used before it or even ever with this game on this PC. And there's something to a mite of Nurgle's idea up there... I mean it happens with drivers and other apps so stands to reason etc considering how deep into the code (yes, spaghetti is a good description still) they can root.
It's not like I haven't given CA short shrift myself in critique of the game/series so far either. Nor gone without (worse, so far) issues with it all myself. One of which killed WH2 dead, wouldn't launch/run at all for 6 whole months, Dec 2017-May 2018, before eventually somehow fixing itself one day when I checked again. And both apropos of nothing, no changes that were known or flagged, and all else re PC and gaming being absolutely fine. Worse, not any fix, even the most extreme, worked, and I spent 2 weeks doing nothing but try. Nobody else had an issue anything like it and neither ppl here and CA/TW support were any help but then, it was certainly an outlier. You'd best believe I was pissed though and gave CA grief over that as that window it broke for coincided with my best opportunity to play it for years.
Thing is, re 3.0 it's not affecting everybody, nm equally. How much and why that is though is a good question worth digging over. And we get it... it's frustrating as all hell... but some questions have to be asked; specs, drivers, mods aso... if any sense is to be made of it at all, nm any resolution found.
