Crashing on Loading Screen

Hi guys,

So i'm unable to play the game at all, Immortal empires keep crashing on loading screen no matter what I do.
I have no mods, i reinstalled the game and installed in on SSD thinking my slow ass hard disk is causing the issue but nope, still the same thing.
All drives are updated as well.
I'm not sure what to do any more, does someone have this issue as well?

Spec:
GTX 1660 Super
Ryzen 7 2700
16 Gig Ram - 3200mhz

Unless there is a hardware or driver issue on your end it can really just be a faulty install (validate file integrity via steam to make sure) or it are mods still.

Did you play before the workshop and have old mod remnants in your TW WH3\data folder perchance? Cause those would be always active and horribly outdated. But for this you'd have to not play for more than a year or so

I did play before mods, i play with mods as well, currently no mod is installed, changed the Directory to SSD and i'm unable to find the folder you mentioned above.
Just validated the files, gonna try and run it.

Howeverrr, in the client, when i go to mods, there are still mods there, all of them are deactivated tho

are you trying to load a campaign or are you starting anew?

The data folder is in each and every TW installation since probably Rome: TW.

Look into your steam installation folder of TW WH3 please, it's definitely within (otherwise your install has much bigger issues).

The outdated manual mods thing should really just be an issue for very few by now though, if you ever installed a mod from before the steam workshop was life for this game then you might be affected. Otherwise you can safely ignore my remark about that.

Unfortunately if you did, it's very easily to forget though and can cause a ton of issues without one noticing hence my remark

Okayyy, so, managed to get into the game by disabling Windows defender, however, it crashed when I clicked on level up.

I have a similar crash. After choosing a lord the game crashes before loading any campaign.

Same, game keep crashing after NVIDIA latest update. ( 531.41 )

Same. It's my Belakor save in particular that won't load. I have over a dozen manual, auto, and quicksaves and now none of them will load after it suddenly crashed resolving turn 60. My other campaigns seem to load and I can start new ones as well.

Yup same. Does it when trying to start any new campaigns. Validated files and a fresh install.

I just got downloaded this game. I can get into campaign - with and without mods - but it still crashes during the loading screen for the battles.
