Mutants
Warhammer novels talk about mutants following chaos. Can we get mutants for all chaotic factions, like maybe a peasant or zombie grade.

Edit:
I guess I wasn't specific enough when I said mutant. I mean the sort of shambling horde that are exiles from human society, with rusty looted weapons and no cohesion to how they fight. Like in the "mark of slaanesh" story from the gotrek and felix, trollslayer book. They're in a few books but I listened to this particular story on audible yesterday so it comes to mind

That's a cool idea.

What about a limited spawn inside human settlements during siege battles similar to dwellers below?

Spawn, beastmen and forsaken are three examples, as would be any character who is human yet showing visible signs of mutation like all the default chaos lords, sorcerers etc.

Tho wouldn’t say no to more units themed on this as yes obviously not so rigidly described in novels etc

Plenty of chaos mutants already in game.

Forsaken and Chaos Spawn are both mutants, Devoteed Marauders of Slaanesh (that the Slaanesh race can build, not WoC*) are mutants, Beastmen are chaos mutants, more recent lore has proven Skaven to be chaos mutants, etc. The Warriors of Chaos lords and units has mutations, etc.

Heck there is even lore that suggests that many Bretonnian peasants has some small mutations (extra toe, stuff like that).

*The WoC version would, in lore, often have mutations as well. Pretty much any warrior of any rank in the Warriors of Chaos does often have some mutations (more on higher ranks), but they aren't depicted in game for the WoC versions of Marauders.

Also, it's worth noting that chaos marauders/warriors/other mortal servants often have one or more mutations but they aren't necessarily depicted in game. The exceptions are slaanesh marauders of slaanesh as you can clearly see mutations in forms of arm weapons and chaos lords/sorcerers (horns, etc.)

So you could argue that they are already in game, they're just not as visible.

That's from inbreeding. ;)

(My first girlfriend had webbed feet. I kid you not. I was sad to find out that upon checking she didn't have gills as well.)

True, so perhaps not "chaos", but still a mutation, so still "mutants".

Also true, and just not to spam in response to what really saying ya, makes me think like pox walkers from 40k kinda vibes, I dunno if that’s more nurgle specific thing but I’m sure tzeetch at least is down to clown with mutant swarms haha

Think too argument like nearly everything in this world has been effected by chaos on some level, how far manifests parallel by that persons discipline etc

Whose to say teclis being born crippled etc isn’t a by proxy effect of his magical inclination and therefore chaos…certainly worked as a long con to convert another pair of siblings I can think of…but now I’m really just musing here lol

.. We have them already.. Not only are there units like Forsaken, but units who have been blessed by a specific god, have visible mutations.. And units like Chosen and Lords have numerous models where they show mutations..
Ashley Mar 20, 2023 @ 2:04pm
A faction of mutants exist they're called Bretonnia
