Confederation without owning the race

Hi all,

Just got my fiance into this game, and she loves it! Specifically, she loves the pretty characters.

She's playing Alarielle. I bought her WH3 and the Queen and the Crone, as not many other lords interested her. Does this mean she can't confederate with other HE factions until she buys WH2?

The answer is, yes. You cannot confederate factions you do not own the dlc of. If she lacks the Warden and the paunch, she cannot confederate with Eltharion. And she will need to own the base WH2 game to be able to confederate with Tyrion and Teclis.

I believe Imrik and Alith Anar can be confederated, seeing as they're FLC. Just be sure you enabled them.

a SUPPOSED work around to try: You can actually wait until a faction like Teclis confederates confederates the one faction she needs (Eltharion)and then confederate Teclis. This actually gives you him?

She’d need wh2 to confederate teclis or Tyrion. At most she can confed alith amar and imrik

Thank you! I figured that was true, but I had no idea about Alith Anar and Imrik. I'll try it out!
