Malekith is unplayable

Turn 50 sitting on the 2 starting cities. All you do is play whack-a-mole with 5 factions and millions of random spawning armies constantly attacking you. Fun fun. Warhammer 2 was a million times better.

random spawning armies sounds like you got control issues in your cities.

Sounds more like a skill issue than "game being bad" if that is the case.

I've played Malekith on this patch and by turn 50 I was having more problems finding nearby enemies to enslave than playing wack-a-mole. You need to be aggressive at the start but if you are successful he actually has a super comfy position.

By turn 50, I generally control all of Naggaroth with Khatep and Valkia killed. It is skill/ understanding game mechanics issue on your end.

Turn 50 usually getting ready for first assault on Ulthuan. Not trying to be rude but seriously DE have one of the most broken op economies in the game, just need to get practising with them...you'll see in time.

Definitely a lot more hectic than WH2., but most WH2 starts are because they added more factions into the game.

I've played Malekith recently and it was pretty comfortable. Even sent an army through the Sea Lanes to start attacking Cathay. If you've only got 2 cities on turn 50 then the issue is definitely you. Really you should have your 3rd city by turn 5 at the latest. Just constantly attack, recruit and move with Malekith's army and don't let up. Go for the Altar of Ultimate Darkness ASAP and block off Grombrindal from expansion if possible. Finish off your initial Skaven enemy, and start moving North and South. By that point Grombrindal will either be easy due to being stuck on 1 city, or he will have wiped out Khatep for you, which probably means his best cities in the North are poorly defended and you can easily wreck his economy before sweeping down and finishing him off.

It only really gets challenging if the High Elves are successful in uniting Ulthuan early and start trying to invade Naggaroth. It's not even remotely "unplayable" though.

have you tried tking their territory? you don't need to defend every ettlement, you can just tke it back later... also spam darkshards

Idk wth is going on but whenever I get to where Naggaroth on any other faction its usually already burn to the ground or almost burned to the ground by one of the nearby faction.
