Chaos dwarfs are my mostly awaited faction to be added and the trailer seems great, but offering less and increasing the pricing at same time doesn't seem like sustainable way forward.
Anyway, I really hope this DLC comes with a patch to fix ranged units. Right now they do not fire. They either stand in place or charge the enemy (even on guard mode). This never happened in warhammer 2 and takes the fun out of empire, skaven, etc.
Half of a base game, for a single faction? (and another campaign that no one will play)
What a joke.
To be fair, all their food and fuel prices have gone up as well. I'm guessing from the $45 dollar figure you're quoting you're also in one of the countries that have been hit hard by Steam changing their regional pricing rates.
All the Best,
Welsh Dragon.
To thank you for providing us with a great game?
Well, think again! In its current condition, the game is a failure.
Get your act together, listen to your player base, and maybe, maybe, we'll spend our money on your DLC.
"Well, this is probably a weird bug, probably new" i think... And then i go to search for fixes and find that the faction mechanic has been broken for SEVEN MONTHS at least. Thats seven months for a main faction mechanic.
So, now we are expected to fork out more cash, for a DLC, while playing a broken game, fixes for which are coming out a a glacial pace? Thats just silly. Especially since the new faction/heroes are most likely going to release broken too.
People are willing to lay down money if they know they are going to get a product that is of quality. But with TW:WH3 the ball has been dropped heavily. So people are less willing to spend more money, for what they KNOW will be a broken product.
