You also don't need a 7900xtx to get good performance on qhd.
I have the same performance you have but currently with a 2070, but I upgraded the rest of my rig mid last year. So maybe its actually not the GPU which is bottlenecking.
Huh ? How can you have that much performance ? On ultra and "normal" 1440p, 2070 don't reach 50FPS in benchmarks, so will be low 40ish max in ultrawide
I'm hardly GPU bound so no other upgrade will help
I mean I don't need NVidia 4000 better performance in RT, and DLSS , as TWW3 don't use neither of them
and i run heavily modded and with reshade
It's a 10GB one and Ultrawide has 30% more pixels so reduced fps
Maybe I'm using a bit too many graphics mods, plus reshade that also reduce framerate, but it's consistent imo
I'm getting similar framerates on a 1080. its all about the tweaking and settings in my opinion

Ok guys, I'm sure I can get 250FPS at 720p low lol, but my question was about what's people experience with a 7900XTX ^^
So to answer to you: obviously with a recent GPU with more VRAM you will have better fps. I'm just saying that you do not need a 7900XTX to max the graphic in this game.
Yeah figured VRAM is too small, but got it early and 12GB version didn't exist
Thing is there's not much point upgrading to anything less than a 7900XTX or 4080 because it won't give noticeable enough gains, those will give +50% approx (from benchmarks)
CPU: AMD 7700x
RAM: 32GB DDR5
GPI: AMD 7900xtx by XFX
OS: Win 11 on fast NVME
Game: On Fast NVME
Resolution: 3840x1600
In game battle benchmark gets average fps of 90 with highs of 113 and lows of 67 when tons is going on. Everything maxed out.. If I pop tree and grass detail down a bit, turn off screen space shadows and SSAO its like an extra 15fps average in the benchmark.
Campaign benchmark is an average of 77fps if that matters at all :)
So with a 1440p ultrawide you would prob see slightly higher results as well.
Card is really solid I also upgraded from a 3080 10Gb and for me was well worth it.
That's good !
What about the XFX card ? Read it has super good perf and temps but some people whine about coil whine, and I'm hesistating between the XFX and the ASUS TUF, both costing same 1200EUR now
One of the main reasons I picked 6800XT over the 3080 10Gb available at the time. I've had 12Gb used at 3440x1440 ultra settings (and there's other games that have used 14Gb)
As for the 7900XTX, I don't have one but I've been looking a lot as if I did upgrade this gen (for the sake of all games plus longevity going forward) so that (and 20+Gb) would be the one. Afaik perf at 3440x1440 should be at least 100 fps ultra, going by a variety of benchmarks, instead of the 60 or so I get now.
Its a great card so far.. Good temps so far and only get coil whine if the fps in a game goes over 500fps haha and that does not really happen in modern games..
Not really seen much about the Asus Tuf version but have had TUF cards before my 3080 was and was also very solid.. I dont think you could go wrong with either..
