I mean, there'll be major caveats re gaming and support thereof.
Yeah, I prefer MacBook (Pro) over any other windows laptop. And it's for the OS, better for design software (ie. Photoshop, InDesign, etc). My actual PC is fine, but it's big, and I might have to move in near future, so laptop is easier to carry around.
I don't know yet if RPFM and Asset Editor have Mac versions....
You’d have to get a virtual desktop for that.
How is Mac better for Photoshop than Windows, I've never heard that one before and I use Photoshop/After Effects and Premiere almost daily lol
OP pretty sure there’s a workshop on MAC too, tried googling it but river runs dry around rome 2 era on people having to do extra leg work to get mods to run so I almost suspect they work for both natively through the workshop itself now? Couldn’t tell for sure tho, don’t have steam on my MacBook/room for games on it.
I had experience with both world in the past. First with WIN, then MAC. And Mac OS has always given a more fluid experience without any issues, especially with Wacom tablet.
On Windows, even W11, I've seen issues here and there. Not big or major issues, but yeah, even if my actual system is quite solid. I still miss the interface on Mac for Adobe software overall.
Although, I agree for 3D and gaming, PC configuration is better, even though Maya on Mac is a little jewel, Windows wins for 3D because of the GPUs.
Workshop works on all OS, it's just a .pak file which is not OS specific.
It's not the workshop he's worried about, it's the mod tools and RPFM and Asset Editor do not currently compile on Mac.
thanks
