Since stats scale with unit size in wh3, it’s the same no matter which size you play.
pretty sure it’s not a factor in AR anymore, it shouldn’t be anyway…
No advantage or inconvenient, unit size is just about esthetics and player preference, that’s how it’s supposed to be at least afaik.
It did have some impact in wh2, though.
There, there was no scaling based on unit size, stats were based on large unit size only, and didn’t scale up or down.
So for example, single characters and single entities were overly strong and resilient in lower sizes, specially the small unit size.
But since they scaled the all thing for wh3 as it was notorious since years in wh2 that it was an issue, etc.
So in wh3 there is no impact based on unit size, and it’s the same in AR or 3D battles.
No worries about that, it’s really just supposed to be esthetic and game performance for those who have an older pc, etc. nothing more than that.
Me too... although then we'd probably be asking for extreme plus or whatever we'd be calling it.
As far as I can tell game is rescalled for other unit sizes.
This.
