Well then. I want my dang demigryph pony to ride on then.
OVN put out a legit Amazons mod for WH2...they're working through factions for WH3 now and I'm hoping Amazons are high on the list. In any case, when it does drop, I think you'll be pleased with the quality.
Oh snap really? That's super cool, thanks for letting me know. I'll keep an eye out.
Their main weakness was that they didn’t have much in the way of heavy, armored, melee-based units. They were pretty squishy and if you tried going toe-to-toe in melee with most factions in the mid/late game you were likely gonna lose because despite having units that could attack fast and land hits, you couldn’t really get through armor enough to make those hits and the poison count.
I hope they drop soon, I like that the OVN factions are being reintroduced as individual downloads. The all-in-one OVN mod for W2 was a load time killer and caused a lot of crashes, freezes, and stutters for me…and I didn’t care for almost half of the factions it added which meant remembering to disable them via the mod settings menu mod before launching a new campaign.
There was also one chaos faction in there that was horrendously OP in the early game and would more times than not knock out multiple minor and major factions by turn 50.
Guns never equal safety.
Guns are a tool to kill and main. They're not made to keep you safe. They're not there to protect you, especially as a civilian owner. Not does a gun show loyalty.
Want to feel safe, get a dog.
It is neither good or evil.
It’s the person who wields the gun and pulls the trigger.
A dog on the other hand is capable of acting on its own and can be unpredictable.
It can be the most loving, most gentle, and most loyal of animals…but it can also suddenly decide to sink its teeth into your toddler’s neck, or destroy your living room when you’re not at home.
A friend ended up at the hospital because his dog had a seizure and went wild.
The dog was running into walls and from what i understood my friend tried to stop the dog from hurting itself. My friend received multiple lacerations to the arms and body.
Another friend of mine was cleaning his hunting gun while being completely drunk. Turns out the gun was still loaded. He shot himself in the left knee while cleaning, he lost the ability to walk properly that day.
Anyway just wanted to share a couple of stories to add to your post.
As a dog owner for the past 40 years.
That last line of yours is beyond wrong. A dog will not sink it's teeth into your toddler without good reason. It would have needed to be tormented by the toddler, not been introduced to it proper. Both instances are the fault of you the pack leader. Not the dog.
Dogs are one of the most predictable animals on this world. If they are not, the dogs are not at fault, but their owner is.
Guns do not equal safety. They are always a threat. Guns are something a civilian should never have.
so what about this statistics?
https://abcnews.go.com/US/116-people-died-gun-violence-day-us-year/story?id=97382759
US 9.800 people died in a single year
https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=Crime_statistics
EU 4080 people died in a single year
from personal experience you are right 99% of the time the dog behaviour is predictable.
Unfortunately sometimes due to health or other reasons a dog can behave erratically.
Caveat, there is no legal gun. That civilian shouldn't have a gun to begin with.
And no, you're not allowed to unleash a frakkin assault rifle as a civilian.
A eye for a eye leaves everyone blind.
But on it's own volition, a properly trained / accepted dog will never harm one of it's own pack. Yes, it will defend itself if another pack member hurts it, but so would you.
