storrage space!
The games says it need a 120 gb of storrage space is this true? I only have about 59 gb of free storrage space and maybe I can cleer up 20-30 gb more. But is this really true than I cannot play the game because of the massive storrage space it needs to be installed? I don't want to spend 60£ and find out I am right.

It's 104 actually, that 120 was the original size but they reduced it later. But yes, with what you have you wouldn't be able to install.

I'm not sure if its exactlly 120 GB now days (it has changed over time),

But to be honest, thanks to the games patching process it often needs more then 120 GB while patching (unless you delete and reinstall the game every patch).

So yea... Wouldn't get it with the relatively small amount of storage space you have available.

It's a hog, it basically downloads the game again when it updates then erases the old files once it confirms that the new download will work, so it does need that whole 120gb worth. The files may vary depending on the what patch is what but i'd make sure to have that whole 120gb of space and make sure that you got space on your operating system so it can use virtual memory so a game crash does not equal a system crash. They've patched most of the game closing bugs but i bet they missed one or two with how much bugs they had at launch.

Yes it needs atleast 120GB, as it basically has to contain much of the content from 3 games and their DLC, so that all the myriad different units, factions, and races can appear in game.

Sorry it's not better news, but at least you found out now and not after spending money on it. Maybe put it in your Steam wishlist and at some point down the road if you have a computer with more space you could pick it up then.

yup its big but most games are big anyways, and given how many units, maps and stuff it includes i think its justifiable to be that big. i mean i got vermintide 2 and thats already a whopping 110 gb. were not even talking about other fps games such as modern warfare 2

Your rightz you don't need to spend £60.

Plenty of options at various prices.

Welcome to 2023, large games and cheap storage.
Also don't forget ideally you want 120gb free once it's installed to. Due to steam patching.

Nvme you can get 1gb for £40.
You can get smaller capacities.
