I'm not sure if its exactlly 120 GB now days (it has changed over time),
But to be honest, thanks to the games patching process it often needs more then 120 GB while patching (unless you delete and reinstall the game every patch).
So yea... Wouldn't get it with the relatively small amount of storage space you have available.
Yes it needs atleast 120GB, as it basically has to contain much of the content from 3 games and their DLC, so that all the myriad different units, factions, and races can appear in game.
Sorry it's not better news, but at least you found out now and not after spending money on it. Maybe put it in your Steam wishlist and at some point down the road if you have a computer with more space you could pick it up then.

Also don't forget ideally you want 120gb free once it's installed to. Due to steam patching.
Nvme you can get 1gb for £40.
You can get smaller capacities.
