Load order for mods
I'm using around 90 mods at the moment and I sorted them manually from 1 to ...
For me it was logical that number 1 is the mod that is loaded first and every other mod below possibly overwrites changes from the mod above. And everything worked well. I had no Issues.

Now i wanted to try a few submods , but i noticed that the submods should always be placed above the original mod. So I was wondering if I was sorting the mod order wrong all along :D

So now the question is, in what order are the mods loaded:
1. Mods are loaded from 1-10 (every mod below 1 overwrites changes from 1)
2. Mods are loaded from 10-1 (every mod above 10 overwrites changes from 10)
3. Completely random. Nobody knows in which order mods are loaded (I think this
answer is the most unlikely xD)

This is a question for the modding discord.

You download the mod manager and order it by pack name or order number. Modders have generally named their mods in a way to allow plug and play.

Don't mess with mod load orders yourself.

If they require ones to be loaded before it, the mod author has already taken care of it by default when you install the mod. Moving them around willy-nilly is just going to cause problems.

If I had to guess Trident121, the dude who necro'd the hella old thread, either went through pages of discussions in a desperate fervor to answer their burning question of the load order or googled it and this just happened to be one of the first things to pop up

Anyway, for all it's blusters the TW launcher does a pretty good job automatically ordering mods to work (or maybe it's just not that big of an issue to begin with), you should be fine without any fine tuning.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
