Sorry to hear about your bills OP if you need to vent you can vent here
Don't enable "labourers" in every province, just have one main labour hub at first and go crazy on raw materials. Don't even worry about armaments until you start your second province, raw mats are everything for the first bit.
Utilise tf out of the Chorfs many dirt cheap chaff units. They don't even have supply lines (that I've noticed) so you can chaff stack with the best of em.
What else... what else... Oh Caravans: So don't wait for it to prompt you for them to be ready every time because when your initial caravan is returning (could be 3-5 or even like 6-7 turns), it won't prompt you till its back. When your first caravan has completed hire another and get it going immediately instead of waiting for your main one to return home first.
I'm sure I'm totally overlooking some other big tips but I'm still waking up atm. Mayhaps the good denizens of the forum can build on this for you. GL.
Meanwhile every other race is plug and play, while being ready to map paint from turn 1. CD are weak AND unfun in campaign.
Their autoresolve is trash. I am not going to micromanage every single battle, sorry.
Definiterly a bill issue.
Fun is subjective so it's not an arguement. Weak ? What ? Are you drunk ? They are all-rounder and multiple units from their roster are even top-tier accross factions.
But the problem really lies with the AI and their inability to build up the somewhat tricky chaos dwarf economy and run it in a useful way, and to use their extremely strong but friendly fire dwarf shooters properly.
So, the AI chaos dwarves are indeed too weak, and significantly so. But in human hands? Certainly not. Auto resolve works well, too. With losses, sometimes heavy losses, yes. But that really applies to every faction. Autoresolve is just the shortcut that you have to pay for.
No it doesn't. You can comfortable autoresolve with all factions except vampire counts, skaven, and CD's starting at level 1. Bad autoresolve is bad design.
That's just false.
