I think this is one of hardest campaigns on Immortal empires.
In my game Erengrad never fell so far, but betrayers, betrayers all around!
Do you agree?

the ai isnt there to follow lore
it only plays to screw you over
the high elves dont hate the dark elves, they hate you, just like the dark elves, just like everyone else
realize this, realize that the ai will not help you, and konsty will be a lot easier

He definitely needs some rewamp IMO. His whole shtick seems to be quick recovery from lost battles. Like cheaper hero and unit recruitment with extra slots, and reduced wound time. I would prefer skills and taits, that are useful when you can keep your army alive, not when you lose it.

Grombrindal has a word to say. He also has a pretty harsh campaign with absolutely no friend all around him. With Khatep, Valkia (and her friends) and Malekith jumping on his throat by turn 10 make his campaign not that simple.

Betrayers? It is foolish to trust another! Do not make friends as Kostaltyn. Build up Erengrad, keep everything else at tier 1 and invest in armies! Get rid of nearby big-name opponents like Throgg, Throt, and Azazel, then start taking settlements from the weak Empire men. It's better off in your hands!

Yes I turtled ( was kinda forced to)
Erengrad is fully upgraded and I took back some land.
Then lost it again cause there are really a lot of though enemies coming all at once at me.
Throt the unclean, The escstatic legion of chaos , Archeon the everchosen, all the northmen factions and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of chaos puppets or vassals or whatever.
It is really one of the thoughest situations I ever been in.

yeah, don't worry about *holding onto* the land, in the early stages of the campaign you should focus on getting rid of big-name factions.. sure some minor norscan faction might come along and take that territory off you later, but at least it's not a legendary lord faction, y'know what i mean? trying to hold onto all of that territory is an exercise in frustration since Kostaltyn is surrounded by nasties, and most of that territory is crap anyway

But Grombrindal is an asshard OP melee Lord, buffs his troops like they're on steroids, and has a good army!
Kostaltyn, on the other hand...
