Best lord/race for a long coop campaign?

Hello I want to start a coop campaign over a long time with a friend but we don't know what we should be playing together.
Does anyboody have ideas?

Pick either Pirates, Rats or Lizzards.

This depends on the difficulty. And this isn't related to the Player skill, let me explain.
If you play on normal or even easy, you could auto resolve most of the battles. But if you play as Eltharion (High elf)you have to fight many Battles by Hand due to his Campaign Mechanic.
Also you should be careful with Chaos Dwarfs. A Player who is new to this race or has played them only once could take a very long time for one turn. Due to their massive Options in Gameplay. (Tower of Zharr, Moving "Workers", instant finish Buildings, way more ressources to manage, Konvois)

I also noticed that some Faction feel unbalanced in the early Game. While Daddy Kugarth needs i while to start his steam rolling, your partner (Norsca) could have whole Norsca compaired to your two Provinces. Because the faction mechanic of the Norscans give them a vbery cool "Confederation" Option. Just beat the crap out of a Faction leader and you can confederate him.
- you should consider "Do my partner or i need help from our Partner"?
This will influence the choice of starting position
- are we Player Order or Chaos?
If you play Dwarvs and your Partner plays Vampire Counts, you'll have a much harder Time confederating other Dwarves
- Do you want to confederate other LL from your race?
If not you all can play the same race.

Very cool and Smooth running are:
- High Elves (all but Eltharion)
- Lizards
- Empire
- Dwarves
- Bretonia
- Cathay
- Kislev

or
- Dark Elves
- Slaneesh
- Skaven
- Greenskins

or
- Warroirs of Chaos
- Beastmen
- Mono God Factions
- Norsca
- Chaos Dwarves

or
- Vampire Counts
- Vampire Coast
- Tomb King (only Arkhan the Black)

or
- Tomb Kings (all but Arkhan the Black) cause they can't confederate other LLs

or
- Vampire Coast , cause they can't confederate other LLs

My favourites always where "Chaos Invasion by Players." all 4 of us took Mono Gods or Warriors of Chaos. It was so cool, seeing the world burn and overrun by Demons.

On the Order Hand we had a very good run Alarielle, Louen Leoncour, Kostaltyn and Ming Zhao.

Once we painted the map red with two People. Drazoath the Ashen and Vlad von Carstein.

I want to point ou that he usually play on legendairy and I play on very hard.
We don't know yet if we will play something difficult because a long campaign where you have to fight most battle manually is annoying, for that same reason I am hesitating to play slaanesh because of the bad resplenishement rate.
We are also not close to the idea of adding some mode like for exemple nakai multiplayer (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3006971589)
