Did you fight empire armies or empire settlements? Because apparently settlements don't count towards those objectives for changeling.

I think only real landbattles (no ambush, sieges underway etc) count.

if you are referring to "land battles in empire theater x/15"... apparently neither settlement battles nor teleport ambush battles count. I tried. Grrr...
Honestly, that objective was a huge pain in the ass to complete on normal campaign, just by how rarely I could catch an army outside of a settlement.

Same thing for win 15 battles against dwarves. Looks like it only counts land battles no matter what.
