Funny bit. The AI already did exactly this prior to patch 4.0.
They will only move on the victory point if there's no unit's of yours nearby, or actually on the point itself.

So no, it didn't get worse.

Almost ALL of the content folks have been positive throughout WH1-2, because yes, while there were some issues (especially WH2 release and ME), CA actually seemed to be trying. But now that WH3 has clearly shown that all we deserve with our $400 invested in this game is ONE bug fixing staff member, even the YouTubers are upset.

They can't even go over gameplay anymore without encountering these fun-wrecking bugs, so how can you think they shouldn't discuss the issues?

A lot of them are die-hard Warhammer fans, like Nathan/Grudge, so of course he really gets into the total experience, and I appreciate it as a viewer.

I just watched Carcassonne with 2 full powerful stacks sit on a small nearby settlement while Ikit with 1 stack took their capital (he even sieged them for a couple turns. Fey Enchantress had no other enemies. It's like they just "quiet quit" and wanted to sit at the beach while their empire burned to the ground, lol. Even if the AI didn't get worse in WH3. overall it's still dumber than ♥♥♥♥.

I highly doubt that. He has a nondescript personality and doesn't have any gimmicks, like doing crazy challenges, doing shenanigans with Chat GPT, extensive audience interaction, or playing the role of a hopelessly inept idiot (which I've seen some streamers adopt) either. His sole defining characteristic is that he plays Total War well. If it goes down so does he.

I think he more has a problem with jumping on bandwagons for clicks, as many times the videos he makes that lean into controversy are also out of character for him. For instance he's someone who has played and showcased almost every Total War game on his channel, both Historical and Warhammer/Fantasy, and presumably likes the entire franchise, yet this video is his into:
