Try it and compare the performance.
It doesn't work correctly. It becomes very blurry. It's not like FSR, which remains sharp.
I thought you were talking about performance and now you're talking about graphics, okay...
Do you have nVidia GPU card right? there is a tool you can adjust resolution scale and it gives sharpen filter according the strength where it comes a slider with value 50 by default
It's not possible to compare the work of FSR and DLSS with the methods you're mentioning. It doesn't perform as well as FSR 2. Either way, it's going to look bad. I've conducted several tests. Total War needs to release FSR 2 soon.
Any of the upscalers would be welcome.
