Is Something Rotten in Kislev a good first MP campaign?

My friend has played a few coop MP campaigns with me in WH2 but hasn't played WH3 yet. Is the Something Rotten campaign (or the Cathay one) a good one to start with or would it make it hard to learn the new game mechanics because of how much it breaks the rules (e.g. 1 turn builds etc)?

And does it work with just 2 or do we really need a 3rd player?

No really bad to start
The game trow everything at you at once and you don't care about campaign mecanic as you have basically infinite money.
