.Bretonnia: Starts confederating but seldom ever has the whole "bretonnia" area under its control. usually between a quarter and half of it is owned by a mixture of wood elves, empire, and various bad guys. Alberic and Rapanse usually die. They also seriously need a rework or a dlc... or both.
.Greenskins/Khorne: usually one gets stronger than the other. the stronger one becomes a regional power but sits in perpetual state of war fighting tomb kings and dwarves. I will say that once in a while i'll see grimgor start yeeting anyone and everyone in the mountains near cathay. In my good playthroughs the dude can be a friggin beast.
Skaven: are coarse, rough, irritating, and they get everywhere.
Beastmen: Basically skaven but so much weaker that I usually don't even notice them in most campaigns. Ironically I think I find myself at war with them more in my evil campaigns than my good ones.
High Elves: Donut. if they confederate they can be a mini ordertide on their own if im playing one of the south/north american factions they dont like. If they don't they just sit there occasionally raiding.
Lizardmen: They're weird. In my good guy playthroughs they honestly dont do anything. they just fight skaven forever. I feel like they're way too clustered down south. In my tzeentch campaigns it is absolutely annoying to have to fight one lizardmen faction after another. I basically have to declare a genocide against the entirety of them before the real game can begin... they need to not be so clustered in two continents.
Slaanesh/tzeentch: who? like really I feel like these two do NOTHING. Kairos is so far south that unless you're playing lizards you never really get to fight against him, and he's so busy dealing with lizards and elves as an evil faction you never really have to interact with him other than trade. And slaanesh... is just weak. I legit forget about Nekari because waging war on her is so easy... and honestly she never seems to expand.
Dark Elves: always dominant in north america... always at war with the donut.
wood elves: they pretty much stick to their little vietnam in france. sometimes they leave, but its always either just nabbing some bret territory or going into the mountains. Honestly I dont have a problem with this. it makes sense for them.
Chaos dwarves: pretty much take the mountains to the west of cathay and thats about it.
Norsca: Somehow the southern half of norsca always gets taken. but they manage to survive on the northern half. Early game and sometimes mid game you actually see them raid the empire and bretonnia though, which is much better than them being the free real estate for bretonnia and the empire that they used to be. This faction needs more work than any two combined tbh.
Warriors of chaos: Might do some damage to kislev... usually they manage to survive into the late game in the old world but get wiped out there. they do much better in cathay though.
Tomb kings: they stick to the sands
Vampires/Voast/Ogres/Nurgle: dead, dying, or stuck to some small area from begining to end. In the ogres case its better cuz that area will encompass a lot of mountains, but i never really see them as a big threat to anybody. More just as a buffer state protecting the mountains.
