The Norscan Lords
Hello reader!

I am making this post because when I asked myself "what Legendary Lords are obviously missing from Norsca and would obviously be included when they get their makeover?"I couldn't think of any.

I'd love to see Surtha Ek get made into a proper chariot-loving champion and be embraced as a "This is CA's cool OC" like Cylostra - and.. I mean.. He's probably the most famous Norscan character aside from Throgg/Wulfrik at this point.

Who else do people think could/should be made into a Lord for Norsca? What cool lore characters are out there that I perhaps don't know about?

I suppose in general, the biggest issue with Norsca is that most their named LL's are basically Chaos Champions that could fit just as easily in to the WoC. Not sure if there are any characters from lore that led the the northern tribes and remained as a pure tribal chief without going the full way and becoming a Chaos Lord?
The only other Norscan characters I can think of are Losteriksson and Arnessa Saltspite (technically). Other than there isn't much, Norsca were mainly just WoC for the most part (which is presumably why they were never their own faction before).

Personally I'd like to see other Chaos tribes integrated into them like the Kurgans and Hung. Since CA seems to like using them as stand-ins for every minor non-WoC chaos tribe (kind of like how Empire is for minor human factions), it'd be nice to see their roster actaully reflect that.

The "Warriors of Chaos*" is just a umbrella term for all the chaos tribes (*Also known as the Hordes of Chaos, the Followers of Chaos, the forces of Chaos Undivided, the forces of Chaos, the Northern Barbarians or simply just the Northmen).

So i'd argue that you can't really have a "non-WoC chaos tribe". Norsca is by definition part of the Warriors of Chaos. CA just decided to split them of into their own race.

So it would make more sense to add any specific Kurgan and Hung stuff to the Warriors of Chaos if they don't want to make their own race of them like they did with Norsca.

That was part of the issue with Norsca. The idea is cool, but there isn't a clear distinction between "Norsca" and "Warriors of Chaos".

I guess there kind of is in the lore if you want to split hairs. There's less corrupted tribes that worship both the chaos gods and the gods of the south without fully embracing the chaos gods.
