Total War DnD wouldn't sell very well in my opinion. The lore is well rounded, but it wouldn't translate well to the game. None of the major official campaigns take place during a world wide war as far as I know. And once the Wizard has used their 4 spell slots they will need a long rest.

And how would that even work? Lovecraft Mythos isn't exactly known for armies marching across battlefields. I'd much rather a prefer an adaptation of the Arkham Horror card game as a Lovecraft game.

Maybe a Total War of this, but I don't think World of Darkness in general would be a suitable setting for a Total War game. The whole idea of the World of Darkness is a secret world of Vampires plotting and werebeasts thwarting the schemes of demons happening right under our noses in our modern world, in the shadows. That doesn't gel very well with all out wars with armies marching across the world conquering stuff.
