Other Lord dead also.
The new spawned Lord was Level 1.
So he did not have ANY of the horde unlocks like Noctilus.
Plus he spawned with 4 mortars and a elite bloody Giant Crab.
So the situation became even worse as the already cheating AI recruits in one turn way over 3.
And not only the Vampire Coast as here.
I hate this.
I do not mind giving them bonus against players.
But the recruitment cheats as well as the upkeep tending to zero cheats are the worst ♥♥♥♥ of all the cheats.
1 or 2 regions realms can just field 2-3 20 stacks while you with three PROVINCES struggle to keep up ONE army stack.
This is just too overblown.
Add to that the still not fixed AI Bias against you where nations travel over the whole world map to just make war on you this means you are getting overruns with armies razing you minor regions to the ground.
As again the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ morons of CA did delete walls.
Which makes you die a death of thousand cuts as you can barely field one or 2 armies running around and putting out fires chasing AI armies which again - miracle miracle - just retreat and run exactly ONE tiny bit out of reach so a retreat gets them to safety.
And then again other rampage armies raze more of you minor settlements as the ♥♥♥♥ wall deletion is a bloody idiotic change.
And your minor regions are burned to ash.
And build ups costs are astronomical as they massively raised the cost for upgrades of cities while the trade was nerfed a bit.
And you get mired into many wars fast as nations just greet you with a declaration of war.
I totally get your frustration but you should have more than just 2 recruitment slots.
Is that only a HE thing? If so then thats pretty horrible.
Edit: I fully agree with you on the AI Bias. It creates a negative feedback loop of unending, all out war against just the player.
I have 3 - with edict.
I am in early game around round 28
And I would not mind unending war but not with the cheating AI not having noticeable Upkeep as well as recruiting even for NON-Horde factions like 8 Units out of thin air one turn and another 6 the next.
Breaking recruitment limits.
Warhammer 3 base recruitment is 2 per province.
Vampire coast has access to raise dead. If there's been enough battles around, they can have access to quite alot of unit's to instantly recruit.
Same with Vampire counts.
The AI isn't recruiting, it's raising the dead. It costs more (I believe) and it won't get discounts from recruitment bonuses, nor added ranks but is instant.
In Hard it recruits higher tier units more and there is LESS stack spam than in Normal.
So the AI in Normal fields easily 3-4 stacks while in Hard it recruits just one - max 2.
One city in round 52.
8 Army stacks...2 of them high quality units.
On Normal.
Also every settlement had walls when 3 first released and people complained because every minor settlement battle basically became a capital settlement battle which in turn slowed down the game and made progress painfully slow so they changed it.
Can't please everyone and while the walled minor settlements were "cool" when the game first released it very soon got old within the first month.
So you gotta play with a little strategy in a strategy game - hit them from multiple angles and instead of getting that first minor settlement maybe look at their buildings first and if their capital settlement has a lot of higher tier buildings giving them better units maybe go for that first or raze certain minor settlements to the ground on your way to the capital.
So I guess you just want the AI to be crippled some more, eh?
by the way the Vcoast can raise the dead so that probably added to the illusion of them seemingly having way more recruit slots.
