The campaign AI from this game is mostly from 2009 cuz they somehow got it worse than Shogun. They managed to make some improvements like in Diplomacy from WH2 to WH3 but its still bad.
Didn't the dwarves go to war with the empire once because they built them a castle, and underpaid them by a few pennies? If you're RPGing a campaign, going to war with your allies is spot on.

Yeah remember when everyone was thrilled to hear the mechanic coming into TW3 and it turned out to be utterly useless as the AI never trade with the stupid points system
