But yes, I can see the difference beetween 30 and 60
But that said, not so much in this game... where zooming close up in to the action during a battle might make any fps difference or graphics setting more noticeable or rewarding but also means you miss that enemy charge into your flank that loses you said battle.
Imo fps is simply far greater a deal in certain games/genres that... aren't this one.
Then again, maybe I'm just one of the poors or blind, as some might argue (well, poor yes but could afford the specs I have that still place me clear in the top 10% of PC gamers and not too blind, my eyesight has declined since hitting my 40's but still around 20/20... both of which I am, under the circumstances, grateful for)
Tbf though I have played both all Warhammers and a couple of other TW's (and many other games besides) at anywhere between 30 and 144 fps, medium to ultra settings, 1080p to 4K and 7" to 55" screens... and still enjoyed the experience all the same.
Truth is, when it comes down to it, I'm just glad and fortunate to having something decent to play on at all. No pity party but I had it way, way worse for a lot of my adult life.
But even after the worst times it also took me a while to learn to take the opinion of others with a pinch of salt too.
Honestly, end of the day, if it suits you and your preference/needs just do it and have fun, dude. I mean, that's what you came this far for, right?
*sheepishly puts boombox away*
but i digress
however, If I'm not mistaken, most people can't see much faster than 60fps, so the improvements are still there, but our eyes have trouble detecting them.
That info could be out of date though
Definitely will enhance your game experience at higher FPS, and will definitely ruin it at low FPS. Find a good middle ground for your specs and enjoy.
OP,
I think your question is better suited to align with people who build 'theater rooms' for their movie experience. With the projection screen, chairs, popcorn, movie posters, etc,
Each detail above adds to the overall experience and enhances it. I think that's the answer you're looking for, the higher FPS will force the smooth fluid game play you're looking for, at a movie theater experience level. As long as your system can handle it, it will provide a better overall experience
It's not going to be as noticeable in Warhammer as it will be in a FPS tho.
Anything above 60 though, I can't really tell much of a diff tbh but it's same shift regardless when drop drastically from one to another I'd imagine.
In a game like this, I suppose that 30 fps difference wouldn't make a huge difference, it would be preference. If this were something more fast-paced like a shooter or something though, I'd for sure take the higher framerates.
The only thing I notice in this game with higher frames is just less stuttering, really. Maintaining 60 is all a person really needs in this game.
I knew someone that had a drill spinning at the same rate as the light bulb that was rapidly blinking in a workshop, and he couldn't tell if the drill was on, due to other backround noises present, he then grabbed it, and tore his hand up.
