Do I need to buy Warhammer 1 & 3 along with their dlc's?
Do I need to buy Warhammer 1 & 3 along with their dlc's to get everybody or can I just buy the dlc's and not have to worry about the base games of 2 & 3

The lords that come with the base games require you to get the base games if you want to access them. If you don't care too much about having the base ones, DLC works just fine and I think should allow you access to all races without needing the base games of 1 or 2.

As an example of what I mean: You can get Throk via WH2 DLC without needing to own the base game, but if you want to play, say, Queek, who is a Skaven base lord, you will need to have WH2.

The developers have made it so you have to pay hundreds of pounds (uk) and they haven’t even got the decency to release a stable game. Regular crashes and there are parts of the map that aren’t even animated properly. I wouldn’t bother with this

You don't "have" to pay anything beyond the price of Warhammer 3. Do feel free not to bother though.

If I had it to do over, i'd just buy the 3 base games. For me, I need dwarfs, Empire etc as playable races, so not having 1 and 2 base games is a non starter.

GL! Oh and also get lots of :weed:, you will need it.

there's a trilogy bundle at 62% off. Do you recommend getting that?

Yeah the bundle that gives you the base games is the best deal for your money. Then you could just buy DLC factions for whatever your favorite race is if you have one.

Depends on what you want. You can get every with just Warhammer 3 and the DLCs they are selling for it. You only need Warhammer 1 and 2 to get the vanilla Empire, Dwarf, Vampire Count, Greenskin, High Elf, Dark Elf, Lizardman and Skaven leaders, and they don't have all the fancy additional mechanics that their DLC counterparts introduced.

There's also no reason to buy all games/DLC's at once, other races mechanics and stuff isn't locked behind other races DLC's. So if you just wanted to get all Skaven Lords for example then you'd want to buy WH2 and all the DLC that Skaven things are included with.

And if OP just wants try out Skaven he can also just buy The Prophet and the Warlock or the Shadow and the Blade or even the Twisted and the Twilight and can buy Warhammer 2 and the other Skaven DLCs later if he wants more of them.

While that's true that you get most everything by owning the base games if you had a favorite race its worth picking up their DLC since you get more Lords, and also additional units you can make as that faction as all Lords. Skaven for example most people think the race actually sucks without Prophet/Warlock DLC to get weapon teams.

So this um i know this answer year ago i recently buy 3 and get the free dlc you said that I don't need to buy 2 to access some freeLC there's a rakhatan guy he was free but I can't seem to access him in immortal empire. Is there a fix you know or do i need to buy 2 im poor i do play at lowest possible settings cuz pc potato.
