Things like: ropes + packs, instead of buttladders.
Sieges that aren't cancerous. Deployment/buildables only in deployment phase.
Duels or similar system.
Governing/political systems.
Noble houses for some.
Night battles as a thing.
Time and dates.
Heros/lords being killable, capturable and employable under certain circumstances.
Why wouldn't Harry the Hammer join up with Skarbrand after being defeated and captured off of Belakor, like why not? And this would add to the noble house/governing systems playstyle as you'd best groom some heirs or take on a protege.
And it's the simplest thing, but you know what I miss? (even though it would make them way less effective,) animals doing their own thing. In 3k you can release a hundred trained tigers into the jungle and sit back with your popcorn. In WH3 all animals are psionically commanded.
What I did like about 3K: its historical essence, and the art was very picturesque, and I guess diplomacy was by and large: vastly superior... It should be anyway.
Yeah with Warhammer 3 you definitely won't fall asleep, there is always some bug that keeps you awake
Cicadas at night are extremely relaxing, that's why I sleep with the window open during spring and summer!
