Also no dedicated server nor in-game chat system, so at best you can 1v1 but not reliably more, whether campaign or mp battles. And their ladder is sh.t, their maps as well.
Denuvo is the least of your concern, make sure the game itself interests you before considering it.
According to some all wh3 bugs are minor and irrelevant and they are noticed only by few people.
Very intriguing to see how much perception of game state changes between players.
Thanks for letting us know.
The root of most arguments I fear, sadly.
Pirates will get a better version than paying customers. (fps)
Also I dont get why an offline single player game has to connect to THIRD PARTY servers.

Denuvo simply forgot to renew the domain.
Whoopsie daisy.
At this point youre not a customer anymore but livestock.
(comparable to Apple - or the south park cable company episode)
But also AAA studios will miss out on me (and others) as customer.
RN there is a healthy indie scene to throw money at.
For me its a little bit more than that.
Hopefully they see how much attention this issue gets and post release remove Denuvo (as others do)
That would be acceptable for me.
And I doubt they would remove it anytime soon, WH1 still has it and its been over 7 years now.
Your not the first and won't be the last.
It won't change, deal with it.
I'm sure you and your friend not buying it won't offset the people buying it because they can't pirate it?
Swings both ways.
Still waiting for the FPS hit proof to be honest. Will fully back the nay camp when it's concrete.
I hear they are going to be allowing tests. Hope they are done by third parties.
Agreed. Minor enough (vs other reasons a game might be laggy/less optimised) that having plentiful resources for the task at hand reduces it's impact to nothing noticeable.
Fwiw, that plenty would be along the lines of a 5800X (where most games still won't consistently use more than 6 cores nm maxing most of them) a 6800XT (more than enough for AAA's at high-ultra 60+ fps at 3440x1440) and 32Gb RAM. Nm what aiming a little higher than necessary does for longevity, I often hit nearer the capabilities of a games engine or my refresh rate before I max any of those out.
Of course, that doesn't make further overloading system resources to run a game ok (no more than piss poor optimisation does, for example) but it's just a thing we're all gonna have to get used to, if we haven't figured that out already.
The game has online functions.
Online campaign coop/versus.
Online battle versus.
It has a leaderboard (that nobody cares about, lets pretend we care for argument sake).
There you go, its not as "offline" as you think.
And the game itself has enough issues with optimization and denuvo sure as hell aint the main factor. The game isnt properly optimized, and it was proven on release that it wasnt just people thinking it was worse. Ofc with time it has improved, by how much I'm not sure as for me the game is just as laggy as before.
Lets be real here, youre on steam, buying games that can get ripped away at ANY MOMENT for ANY REASON. You dont own any games here (or whatever is in your steam backpack), you only own the permission to download it and play it on this specific account.
But yeah devuno is the one thing that makes the customer into livestock
Fortunately there are patch notes and issues lists made by developers that help separate perceptions based on reality from those created by blind love and worshipping attitude.
It has nothing to do with blind love or worshipping, or blind hate or w/e.
On the MP side, some people provide actual data about issues within the game, from actual bugs to balance issues.
In the end, if you play campaign and just press autoresolve, bugs are arguably irrelevant indeed unless it crashes your game.
True but these aren't always the points of contention are they?
For example, many at launch said it was unplayable.
I had zero issues, on both gamepass and steam.
(A friend only had issues with tzeetch chaos land).
Many now have issues with crashes and such but not everyone.
Maybe it's faction dependant, I don't know but the truth is the game is far from broken for some and a train wreck for others.
Minor bugs (which I think is mostly the CA list?) aren't 'game literally unplayable'?
Fair points, but when you see a plethora of alternate accounts that are opened with the only purpose to mock those who expose game issues you know there is a serious problem with how some react to those who report bugs or provide criticism.
