How does this DLC crossover work if Warhammer part 1 and 2 are on another gaming application?
Title, anyone know? I am NOT buying the games twice for this nonsense, it either works or doesn't and I move on.

Warhammer 3 was purchased on Steam, Warhammer's 1 and 2 I bought on another platform, simple.

Final note: I don't intend to ever play the previous games again, and never did the DLC for them. It looks like the biggest negative is the lack of W3 engine campaigns, and I hope that is considered, but sounds like it wasn't. However, turns out, it seems they at least work on 3, all I needed to know.

You have to own all the games and DLC on the same storefront.

Then they will never get my money for a single DLC from EITHER platform, done and done.

Gotta work with people who OWN LICENSES PAID for, period.

Yes they should force steam and Microsoft and Epic to work together to ensure cross compatibility just like how you can play a ps5 game on Xbox and vice versa without buying twice.

Not the devs choice really. The different stores don't want to cooperate so hard to do anything about it.

Absolutely, we PAID for our licenses, ALREADY. If you have the games BOUGHT, and installed, that is ALL that should matter here.

funny you blame CA when they probably had no say in it.

You really think competitors like Steam, EGS and Microsoft would actually let you be able to buy stuff on the other platforms and let you play it on their platform?

EDIT: damn other people are fast.

Are you daft and slow?

I merely need the DLC to work with part 3 because I OWN the games, it's LITERALLY that simple, I DO NOT need them to work with the other games, I need it to RECOGNIZE them for working with part 3.

you paid for the licenses on a specific platform.. so ofc you can't go to other platforms and use it there.

I pay for netflix, so should i also be allowed to watch movies on disney+ and other streaming services for free?

Na all other companies should just bow down before our lord and savior Gaben, no need for working together.

Those are RENTALS and your absolute complete lack of any sane debate here is sad.

What part is hard to understand? The different storefronts (for example epic and steam) do not want to cooperate, so let's say you have game 3 on steam, it can't recognize DLC and games you own on any other storefronts since the storefronts do not want to cooperate.

Yeah! While we're at it can we make pizza hut and dominoes sell the same pizza? It's outrageous I have to buy from TWO places because my family doesn't like the same kind of pizza.

you're here talking ♥♥♥♥ to people for trying to explain how businesses work.. how is that sane debating?

also if you actually know how steam/EGS/microsoft store works.. you buy for a license to be able to play it on their platform, thats it.. THEIR platform, not other platforms.
