And the wood Elf Twin faction can just field 19 flying high damage ranged units and get away with it.
If its only about fire power then vampire coast might do it as well, they have crap infantry but they are all about cannons and bombarding the enemy, also its vampire pirates, there will never be a cooler faction.
cathay has a strong mix of units but they can be tricky to get used to because of their harmony mechanics. their units can shoot rather quickly though.
the main drawbacks for cathay are that their units do not preform well if they are not in harmony and just like kislev they could benefit from more dlc.
the dwarfs do come with a warning though. they are basically locked into a single playstyle. that being said their front lines can take quite the beating.
they are lacking in cavalry, monsters, real mages and healing capabilities (limited sources of healing available).
Yea i know the wood elves look very promesing and strong, but their building/Outpost stuff looks boring.
Cathay too.
There are other ranged powerhouses, but they go about it quite differently.
While tricky to play at first, once you grasp the different loop they are superior to most factions. You basically have to learn to destroy most of the settlements you encounter for all the wealth. It is super cheap to build outposts. Or replace them...

The WEF economy relies on their main settlements and trade. Go fight armies, sack other settlements, and raze them to give extras.
WEF are strongest by far and the Sisters are the strongest overall for one simple reason: ambush.
They have high ambush success rate, add to that some tech research, and the ambushed armies can't reach retreat point on time, and not even reform lines to defend. Of course, armor piercing archers will be the go to once you upgrade the barracks.
A bit harder to go head to head with some other factions, so you may want to rely on some cunning strategy by waiting and ambushing armies.
Their units also cause fear, once the tech is researched.
