Drazhoath the Ashen
Zhatan the Black
Shar'tor the Executioner
Drazhoath the Ashen since his home base is in the game already,

These are what i think are likely aswell, though i think Gorduz Backstabber would be an interesting choice too. Would certainly be a different experience playing as a Hobgoblin working for the Chaos Dwarfs.

And would cover the melee lord since the real chaos dwarf bosses are all casters.

Shar'tor fills the melee role
Astragoth is also good in melee

Must say I'm not an expert on the Chaos Dwarfs.
But yeah, Drazhoath has Cinderbreath too so he's a beast in melee
I'm honestly worried that the entire faction is going to look like hot garbage. I want CA to lean into their whole Assyrian aesthetic and give us a modernised take on the Big Hats range. But I suspect we're just going to get "generic evil short people."

What makes you think that? We've seen a arm of one Chaos Dwarf

Well all the chaos dwearfs are good in melee but was more thinking the hobgobllin being the melee lorrd sense well chaos dwarfs relay on the hobs and their slave legions of otheer green skins to booster their numbers and do their work around the world so having a hob has a pick would make sense and reflect that chaos dwarfs depend on them not only to keep the other green skins in check but to do their dirty work

I just don't see a Goblin getting a LL slot for the Chaos Dwarfs. They would never be able to command armies of Chaos Dwarfs.
There are plenty of unique Dawi Zharr to draw from

Because every Chaos Dwarf GW has made since 5th edition don't look like Chaos Dwarfs, and we know from the "Warhammer Old World" concept art that CA is taking cues from GW on how Chaos Dwarfs should look.
In any case if it goes like other dlc we will get four lords so hopefully one is a hob

I mean I don't think CA have let us down yet when it comes to faction design and aesthetics (maybe a few missteps such as stones trolls etc).

Think all will be fine. We'll see soon enough.

If there's one thing I can always give CA kudos for despite WH3's flaws it's aesthetics. Don't think you'll have to worry, I'm sure them hats will be ultimate.

My hope is that there will be some major balance changes and that the chorfs won't be crazy overtuned on release like all of the latest overhauled factions, (beasts, WoC, wood elves even, TK, etc.) I still expect them to be, but it would be nice if they weren't devoid of challenge like current WoC.
